HONDURAS

Honduras is a country in Central America, bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua, to the south by the Pacific Ocean and to the north by the Gulf of Honduras and the Caribbean Sea, with Belize situated 50 miles (75 km) away, across the Gulf of Honduras.

Central America. Honduras has coastline on the Pacific ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Guatemala is located to its west, El Salvador to its south-west and Nicaragua to its south east.

Geography

Has only a short Pacific coast but a long Caribbean shoreline, including the virtually uninhabited eastern Mosquito Coast.
